Cheryl Lemieux – Vice President, Finance & Operations
Cheryl has intimate knowledge of Calgary’s social sector as the former Senior Director, Organizational Sustainment at CUPS Calgary Society where she was a member of the executive team contributing to CUPS overall strategy and led the Finance, Human Resource, Information Technology and Marketing/Communications teams.
She also has a background in various leadership positions in professional services and the oil and gas sector, including positions as VP Finance with MNP and Controller with Newalta and Superior Propane.
Cheryl is a Certified Professional Accountant and member of the Charter Professional Accountants of Alberta. She also holds a Certified Executive Coach Certificate from Royal Roads University and is an Accredited Coach with the International Coaching Federation.
Bodil (Bo) Masterson – Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement
Bo has worked across the globe to design and lead community-based programs and complex strategic initiatives, as well as develop and manage diverse stakeholder relationships. Internationally, Bo designed and built child protection programs with Burmese refugees in Thailand, spearheaded the provincial expansion of programs in Southern Thailand and South Sudan, and led the government and stakeholder relations for new organizational initiatives in various countries.
In Calgary, Bo brought her strategic vision to life in the Community Hubs Initiative – a large multi-stakeholder effort to develop six community hubs across Calgary. More recently, she has led the Women’s Centre of Calgary through key times of transition, increasing partnerships and collaboration to enhance strategic impact, and build towards a sustainable future.
During her time at the Women’s Centre, she has come face to face with the impacts of homelessness on those who experience it, and the community at large. She has become a passionate advocate for the importance of this work from a prevention and intervention perspective, as well as recognizing the intersectionality’s at play.
Matt Nomura – Vice President, Strategic Investments and Community Impact
Matt holds an MBA and brings over 14 years of leadership experience to Calgary Homeless Foundation. Having held progressively senior management and strategy roles in both the financial sector and not for profit space, he has extensive experience with strategy and business planning, program design, funding and evaluation, outcomes measurement (qualitative and quantitative), and advocacy within Ministries and public systems.
