Jaqueline Lozano- Discovery House

Jaqueline Lozano from Discovery House received the Front-Line Employee Collaboration Award because she has built strong partnerships to reduce housing barriers for families facing complex challenges.

She’s demonstrated collaboration through advocacy, cultural responsiveness, and a deep commitment to working across systems to create lasting housing stability.

Alanna Manybears- Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary

Alanna Manybears from Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary, received the Front-Line Employee Leadership Award because she has created safe, culturally grounded spaces that support healing and housing stability.

She’s demonstrated leadership through quiet strength, deep knowledge, and a steadfast commitment to empowering both clients and colleagues.

Christopher Aguocha- Trellis

Christopher Aguocha from Trellis received the Front-Line Employee Innovation Award because he supports families in crisis with creative, relationship-centered approaches to housing stability.

He’s demonstrated innovation by tailoring services to meet unique needs, rebuilding support networks, and showing up during critical moments to foster long-term healing.

2025 Leadership in Our Indigenous Communities Award

Joyce One Spot, Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary

Joyce One Spot from the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary received the Leadership in Our Indigenous Communities Award because she walks alongside community members with compassion, humility, and cultural strength.

She’s demonstrated leadership by blending traditional knowledge with frontline care—supporting individuals through housing, recovery, and reconnection with culture and community.

2025 Project Award

The Neigbourhood Hub, McMan Calgary

The Neighbourhood Hub by McMan Calgary and Area received the Project Award because it delivers barrier-free, wraparound services to individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

The project has demonstrated impact through on-site health care, cultural programming, and employment supports—creating a trusted, integrated space that strengthens housing stability and community connection.
